The story
Swen was founded in Lodi, CA by Chris Cisneros. It includes two sub-brands: IG4 Golf and S80 Skateboarding. The word Swen is Nordic for "young warrior."
Small brand with a big vision
The goal is to create an athletic brand that combines clean lines, luxury, and a touch of unique designs.
The brand image is a synthesis of styles inspired by high-tech imagery, the sharpness of golf apparel, and the aesthetics of performance wear -- all embedded into everyday clothing. This mixture is aimed at creating a look with universal appeal. No matter what sport or activity you favor, Swen was made to help you look good while you do it well.
Meet the Founder
Chris started the Swen brand with one t-shirt. Over the past six years, he has gradually added several more items, along with branding the IG4 Golf and S80 Skateboarding lines.
He began his athletic endeavor running cross country and track. The vigorous cardio routine helped ease some of the tics he experienced as a result of having Tourette Syndrome. Using his copywriting and design skills, he sculpted the Swen brand, including coming up with the name and wing logo.
Chris hopes to work with athletes, ambassadors, and build connections with individuals who can help the brand grow.
